Aichurok Ybyraimova obtained her BA in Sociology at the American University of Central Asia (2013-2017). As sociology major she held multiple internships including research project assistant at Urban Initiatives Public Fund, a State Agency for local self-government and Development Policy Institute and International Finance Corporation (IFC). As a junior student, she has received Jae Chang Lee scholarship and was an exchange student at Hannam National University in South Korea (2016). Her bachelor thesis was on the representation of people with disabilities in Kyrgyz print media. Besides academic achievements, Aichurok Ybyraimova has a volunteering experience at the Center for the Protection of Children (Kyrgyz Republic), Home for the Angels (Malaysia) and Red Crescent Society (Kyrgyz Republic). Currently, she is working as research project assistant at “SIAR research& consulting” LLC.
